Rabbit Wars

Battles. Fights. Who would have ever thought rabbits were so violent, you would never get this type of problem with guinea pig. Our rabbits have been having these battles where they run around trying to bite each others butts and the smallest rabbit has been escaping, jumping over a 3 foot fence, just to get away from the chaos. This small bunny, Fiver, we have found many strange lumps on lately but it is only now that we realized they were bite marks, bloody. Just last night we heard a big battle and in the morning Fiver was not in his cage that we had put inside of the other bunnies cage, her was sitting in the room. His personal cage was broken, the floor began to fall out and the 'fence' like wall of the cage was coming out of the metal bar. Some very odd ways for a bunny cage to get broken in one night, how exactly it did get broken like that, we have no clue. now we moved Fiver to a different room than the rest of the bunnies.
We suppose that it is a male thing, this is the first time we have had 2 male rabbits that are not fixed (or father and son) before. After all, the main battles have been between the two males that are not fixed.
Why did this not happen when Pip was alive? I asked. Maybe Pip protected Fiver and that is how he died. possibly too many bites at the neck, we didn't see any huge wounds or anything like that but we didn't really want to investigate a dead body like that.
